Men Wanted for Alaskan Cruise!!!

Gentlemen, Next summer (2006) there will be the first (of many) Senior Bachelor Love Boat Cruises. I have many wonderful, fun, intelligent ladies, mostly all 45 and over, looking for a dance partner! Or a dinner partner. Or someone to chat with. There are more than 10,000 women on my mailing list, and over 3,500 would like to go on cruises. We have already met as a group on two different occasions in August and September 2005 and we all had a ball together! At each meeting they said "Bring more men!" Check it out on the photos page- click here!

We have got a terrific deal with Holland America Lines for two cruises to Alaska in August, 2006. There are too many extras they are giving us as a group to mention here. Visit the website to get all the "Fun Cruise" details- click here!

Gentlemen, stay tuned, and I look forward to seeing you on board.

Richard Roe AKA The Senior Bachelor

A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband.

Suddenly her husband burst into the kitchen.

"Careful ... CAREFUL!

Put in some more butter!

Oh my GOD! You're cooking
too many at once.

Turn them!

You need more butter!

Oh my GOD!

Your going to ruin them!

Holy sh..t... are you blind?

They're going to STICK!

I said...BE CAREFUL!

You NEVER listen to me when you're
cooking! Never!

Turn them!

Hurry up!

Are you CRAZY?

Have you LOST your mind?

Don't forget to salt them.

You know you always forget to salt them.

Use the salt.

The wife stared at him.

"What the hell is wrong with you?
You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?"

The husband calmly replied,

" I wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm driving with you in the freaking car"

Well, CoopMan went back to Montana, without being very well trained on this Blog thing, so I doubt if we will hear anything else from him. Unless, Wanda aka SharingintheNight goes back to Montana and trains him.

But I talked to him about doing a men's version of the Calendar, he did say he would pose for Mr. January with a Studly Horse, How's that??

I think I have a Mr. Feburary, too.

Who's got Mr. March????
Remember they have to be single!!!

Oh, Yah!!! That Paula, said we could count on her for some guys!!

Hi Bob!!!

Glad to see you here and wanted to replace my terrible photo with the new one.

Hope you meet lots of fun ladies here, the Men's Blog has been rather slow, but we still hold out hopes and Men, Men, Men that's all we need here.

I think some of the ladies involved with the Senior Bachelor Adventure are a little bit disillusioned, in my estimation, because anything like this seems to put people on a pedestal and then everyone begins to expect perfection!!!

But, it seems that the Senior Bachelor is a mere Man and imperfect, like the rest of us!!

What a shame, we wanted a God!!!!

So maybe some more men will bring us back down to earth again and we can ascribe human characteristic again to him and other men that might join us here!!!

Best of Luck and my suggestion would be to remind the Ladies that you live and breathe just like a real Human being, they are tuff sometimes!!!Our expectations are high, probably the reason we are selective enough to be by ourselves!!!!

In my humble opinion (IMHO)!!!

Now that is a deep philosophical thing you have said there!!!

I am always reluctant to say what I really feel so, I generally say:

"I am darn near perfect".

Which usually opens the conversation to some very interesting concepts, I am sure we would get opposition to either mine or your bold statements and I am just going to drop the entire issue, right here!!!

But, you will never hear me argue with anyone who makes the statement that you did, I think we all underestimate our selves.

I did have to look back and make sure that I used any such term and I did say "perfection", didn't I. May have been a poor choice of words, now that I think of it,

What I was trying to say is that "A process like SB, many times makes people seem, bigger than life and above being human".

I still think the definition of "Perfect" is debatable!!!Of course, someone will drag out Webster's
and here we'll go!!!!!

RedTBird and CathyinCarolina as far as I can see you both are darn near perfect, the smiles alone would be hard for any man to pass up. Keep smiling and being beautiful.

Dear Richard,

I am wondering if you or Joe still have an interest in this Blog site.

It seems I am not the only one wondering why Men seem so shy or just aren't coming aboard?

When you launched your Blog or should I call it "Mission?", you included something for us to do and some attractive possibilities. Now the possibilities are realities as you and one of 6 finalist start enjoying Brazil.

What would be enjoyable, EASY, benefitial and attractive to men?

The efforts and work you have given to your Mission has not been EASY! Most men couldn't/wouldn't do that even though they see your success.. However you have set up a Base Operation to go forward with.

I think I remember you suggesting that men here be recommended by us? Is that working? And who recommended us Ladies? Do the active men we are looking for have all the computer time you and some of us used to investigate possibilities?

Could your staff set up a Blog Help link that would contain the same solutions Joe (Susan, Click Girl and others) have to keep repeating to help people get started?

Finally, what happened to the profiles, etc. site for those that haven't got the bloging experience or time? I have mine, as do so many of us already established on the blog, but have I missed what Joe started for profiles or was there just not enough new interest?

And strictly from my own thinking, there are a few people like me, I think???, that don't want to be within the "Large, same sex groups" for extended periods. (I still like a man to start my motor.) Even in Texas they have shirts that say "Real Cowboys don't Line Dance."

You asked us "Rangers" for suggestions. Mine is to get some Substance on this sight. (note I didn't say "Meat.") Do men really have time for Lady Talk once they have heard enough to learn and make a decision about our individual Passions?

My writings today are not meant to critasize or hurt anyone's feelings. They are just my thoughts about progress.

My unrelated PS for today is that, at our age, we shouldn't be stressing, working, planning or directing anything too long that keeps us from our natural smiles and enjoyments..It is always OK to change our minds because of new info and insight.

I selfishly thank you for the great pictures and updates. I am viewing them from Sanibel. The whole island will light up starting tomorrow with the arrival of Santa. It is awesome! Guess I had better stop beach combing and kite flying long enough to take new pictures. This is our time to be making memories.

Happy Trails and Great Memories for the Finalists, your Group and Followers,
Mary Rose

Good Evening All.
I just read the story about The Senior Bachelor in the Daily Breeze newspaper, and it sounded pretty exciting. Sorry to hear about your health issues Richard.
I am a 'Senior Bachelor' and would like to find out more about your 'adventure' cruise that is coming up. Will that still occur given your health, Richard?
I'll post now and see what happens.
